GE Power & Water's brilliant wind turbine, the first in the world to have battery technology integrated into the turbine system. The 2.5-120 turbine leverages the GE Durathon Battery, paired with advanced software applications, allowing power producers and the wind turbines themselves to make data-informed decisions and provide short-term predictable power. The 2.5-120 turbine has a 2.5 megawatt output and a rotor diameter of 120 meters – around the same as the London Eye. Bonus: adorable cow cameo. Photo by @sessenyc.
